What this site is

Shadow Dungeon Wiki (shadowdungeon.shop) is an independent, unofficial fan-run guide for Shadow Dungeon — the dark-fantasy hack-and-slash ARPG by OO Cat, released on Steam on August 26, 2026 (app id 4423580). We are players who wanted the answers we kept searching for in one place: which class to pick, what the 1.0 version actually includes, how the loot systems work, and what the Greater Rifts endgame looks like.

The site is deliberately narrow. It covers this one game, in English and Japanese, and every page leads with the answer before the explanation. It is not a news site, not a store, and not affiliated with anyone.

Editorial standards

Every page is written answer-first: the question the page answers appears in its own box, followed by the evidence. Stable facts (release date, price, content lists) come from the official Steam listing and OO Cat's announcements. Volatile details carry a version scope and a verification date, shown in the stamp at the top of each page.

Community opinions are labeled as community opinions — for example, class tier framings are attributed to the source that produced them (such as Destructoid's launch-week tier list), and Reddit sentiment is described as sentiment, not fact. When a claim is uncertain or likely to change after a patch, the page says so instead of guessing.

What this site is not

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to OO Cat or Valve. We have no insider information and no early access beyond what every Steam player can download. There are several unrelated games and locations named “Shadow Dungeon” (a Roblox location, a mobile game, an OSRS dungeon, and a retro platformer at shadowdungeon.com); this site covers only the OO Cat Steam ARPG, and pages mark that distinction explicitly.
